H4P Organisation, in partnership with Fire City Chapel, has organised the 7th edition of the Celebration of Love medical outreach in honor of Christina Anansiwa Hackman, the late mother of the CEO of the H4P Organisation, Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman.

The outreach, organised for members of ShareCare Ghana, individuals living with cerebral palsy, and their caregivers, provided free medical services, including general health assessments, dental screenings, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy.

Prescribed medications were also dispensed free of charge through an on-site pharmacy, while referrals were made for cases requiring further medical attention.

In addition to healthcare services, mothers and caregivers received gift items in recognition of their dedication and resilience from the CEO.

Speaking at the event, CEO of H4P Organisation and Lead Pastor of Fire City Chapel, Bishop Charles Cofie Hackman, said the outreach was held in memory of his late mother, whose values continue to inspire the organisation’s work.

“Celebration of Love is in honor of my late mum, Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman—a woman who taught me to love, respect, and share. She loved everyone and taught me to do the same. Today, I urge every mother and caregiver here: continue to love your children deeply, regardless of their condition. You are not alone. We stand with you.”

Bishop Hackman acknowledged the emotional, social, and financial challenges faced by caregivers of persons living with cerebral palsy, noting that integrated outreach programmes such as Celebration of Love help reduce anxiety and restore hope among affected families.

The Celebration of Love initiative is one of several projects named after Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, alongside the Christina Hackman Impact Leadership Awards (C.H.I.L Awards) and the refurbished Christina Hackman Female Ward and Lying-In Ward at the Manna Mission Hospital.

The event brought together disability advocates and civil society leaders, including Mr. Alexander Kojo Tetteh of the Ghana Disability Forum, Acting Executive Director of ShareCare Ghana, Christopher Mawutor Agbega, Madam Emilia Gyenkel, and the CEO of Inclusive Family Alliance, Madam Hannah Awadzi.

The speakers commended the H4P Organization for its commitment to disability inclusion and called for stronger medical and social support systems for families affected by cerebral palsy.

They stressed that inclusion should be regarded as a right rather than a charity and encouraged parents and caregivers to develop skills and capacities that would enable them to better support their children.

Some beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the organisers, citing the high cost of medical care and persistent stigmatization as major barriers to accessing healthcare for their children.

The H4P Organisation’s Celebration of Love outreach is held periodically to provide healthcare support to vulnerable groups and to promote dignity and inclusion for persons living with disabilities. This year, Fire City Chapel joined the course as part of its 10th Anniversary activities.
