The goal came after Clottey robbed Kotoko midfielder Frank Boateng of the ball in the Kotoko half of the pitch and played a one-two with Abdul Basit before slotting the ball beyond the reach of goalkeeper Isaac Amoako. This means Berekum Chelsea has taken a 12 point lead on the league table. In another highly anticipated game at the Accra Sports Stadium, Gilbert Fiamenyoh handed Hearts of Lions all the three points in another encounter that saw both sides miss numerous chances.
