An estimated one point five million women, representing 15% of Ghana’s adult female population have had, at least, one induced abortion in their lifetime.
Unfortunately, a many of these women end up dying because they do not use proper or recommended abortion procedures.
This morning on Hotline, Kwabena Owusu Ampratwum and Farrah Momen will be exploring the soaring cases of abortion in Ghana and why many women are taken to dangerous means to abort in the documentary Fatal Secret.
