Ghana winger Christian Atsu was in action for Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands cup on Wednesday night.

The on-loan Chelsea playmaker was on fire and played in the entire duration of the game for the home side as they walloped Noordwijk 5-0.Vitesse started the game on a bright note as another on-loan player from Chelsea Gael Kakuta opened the scoring inside the second minute.

Frank van der Struijk made it two for Vitese before the first half break. Second half goals from Giorgi Chanturia, Francisco Santos Da Silva Junior and Gael Kakuta got his brace in the 5-0 thrashing.

Elsewhere in the Belgium, Frank Acheampong played 69 minutes for Anderlecht as the Belgian champions earned a comfortable 3-0 away victory to  Oostende in the Begian Jupiler League.

Nana Akwasi Asare lasted for 58 minutes for KAA Gent who lost 3-2 to Waregem.

In the Italian Serie A, Sulley Muntari featured for 75 minutes for AC Milan in their 1-1 draw against Lazio. 

Kaka scored Milan's goal the 54th minute with Mario Balotelli giving the assist.

Lazio equalized in the 72nd to end the game in a 1-1 draw.

AC Milan are 10th on the Italian Serie A table having acquired 12 points from 10 games with a +0 goal difference.

Isaac Cofie's Genoa defeated Afriyie Acquah's Parma by a lone goal courtesy of an Alberto Gilardino's 57th minute strike. 

Both Ghanaian midfielders were unused by their respective teams in the Serie A clash.

Alfred Duncan watched Livorno's 3-3 drawn game with Torino on the bench.

Kwadwo Asamoah was an unused substitute in the Italian Serie A on Wednesday night when Juventus played Catania. 

Arturo Vidal, Pirlo, Tevez and Bonucci were the scorers for the Old Ladies  at the Juventus Stadium.

The Italian Champions are now second on the Serie A table two points behind Roma having played a game more than the league leaders.
