The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) under the auspices of the Ghana Political Parties Programme (GPPP) will be hosting the Presidential Candidate of the Convention People's Party, Dr. Abu Sakara, for an evening encounter with its outfit and the press, Tuesday.
This is part of the IEA’s effort to promote and address rising issues based on the 2012 elections.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, it said the programme will be aired live on Joy FM, GTV and Metro TV, but would be strictly by invitation.
Myjoyonline.com will, in partnership with Google, stream the interaction live.
The programme is scheduled for June 26, 2012 at 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
“Those who wish to govern must allow themselves to be subjected to probing questions by the people,” the IEA said adding that, this will ensure that potential rulers understand the concerns of their subordinates and develop the capacity to address them even before they are elected to power.
The leading think tank in Ghana, IEA, says the meeting will come off at the Kofi Annan ICT Centre-Ridge.
