Famous Nigerian actress and model, Annie Macaulay Idibia, has addressed the controversy surrounding her reaction to Senator Ned Nwoko’s fifth wife, Laila Charani’s, post against Regina Daniels.
Recall that Laila, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page on Thursday, accused actress Regina Daniels of introducing her to drugs.
While tagging the actress as a bad influence, she wrote, “This is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised, especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you.”
Laila’s post was liked by Annie, who is known to be an associate of Regina Daniels.
The development sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many fans expressing disappointment.
However, addressing the backlash, Annie, in a post on her Instagram story, described her reaction to Laila’s post as a “mistake” and assured Regina of her loyalty.
“In the process of reading the rubbish that was alleged about my baby, Regina, I liked the post mistakenly. Over here, we don’t play with loyalty, and my baby knows I have her back, front, and side. Make una rest abeg.”
This comes amid the ongoing messy marital breakup between Senator Ned and his sixth wife, Regina, who earlier called him out over alleged domestic violence.
In response, the Senator accused her of taking drugs, an allegation denied by the actress.
