Famous Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, has reacted to the alleged arrest and detention of Regina Daniels’ elder brother by Senator Ned Nwoko.
DAILY POST reports that Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, was arrested in Lagos on Sunday by Nwoko for his alleged involvement in his ongoing marital crisis.
Sammy West was arrested a week after his sister, Regina Daniels, called out her husband, Senator Nwoko, over alleged domestic violence and filed for a divorce.
Reacting to the couple’s messy breakup, Mercy Johnson, who is known as Regina’s godmother, questioned Sammy’s arrest.
Questioning Nigeria’s justice system, she wrote, “The worst form of injustice is pretended justice.
“A child was arrested, no one can or has been allowed to see him for 2 days, he was flown from Lagos to Abuja and is allegedly being taken to court from the airport. How did we get here? Nigeria… Wow”.
