Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has said that he would not take back his estranged actress wife, Regina Daniels.
He also denied any communication with her but insisted that she undergo therapy.
In a detailed statement posted on Instagram on Tuesday, the lawmaker included screenshots of a WhatsApp message he described as his last communication with her.
He explained what happened, when, and how, stating that Regina has been completely under the influence of hard drugs, leading to a series of violent and irrational incidents.
According to the lawmaker, he released the WhatsApp message from October 17 to clarify the situation and show the ultimatum he delivered regarding her rehabilitation.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,” the statement read.
The statement further said that Regina’s allegations of drugs and sexual misconduct are a figment of her imagination and can never be substantiated.
