Senator Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian politician and the husband of the actress, Regina Daniels, has stated that having one wife is like standing on one leg.
The politician who is currently having a marital crisis with his fourth wife, Regina Daniels, made this claim while defending polygamy.
Speaking with Seun Okinbaloye during his appearance on Channels TV on Sunday night, Nwoko expressed pity for men with one wife.
While justifying his decision to have many wives, he explained that “the difficulty of standing on a single leg” influenced his polygamous lifestyle.
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg, you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four.
“I feel sorry for those with one wife. I don’t have any regrets, and I will do the same thing again”, the lawmaker stated.
Nwoko said this amid a messy marital crisis with his fourth wife, Regina Daniels, who, in a viral video online, accused him of domestic violence.
In response, Nwoko accused Regina of substance abuse.
However, in a new development that seems like confirmation of their divorce rumours, Regina, on Sunday evening, posted a picture standing on the balcony of a new house, raising speculations that she had moved out of her marital home.
There are now insinuations that she acquired a new house in Lagos State.
The picture had the caption, “I needed a roof over my head”.
