Ghana’s leading jobs website, Jobberman Ghana, has partnered Facebook and Airtel to bring all the latest jobs to the general public through an internet app that will enable free access to some websites.
The app, internet.org, will enable people access information on Jobs, education, health, and finance without paying data charges on the Airtel network.
Sites such as Facebook, Jobberman Ghana, BBC News, Messenger, Wikipedia, Baba Centre & MAMA, and Supersport, are among the sites that can be accessed for free.
Jobberman CEO, BabaJide Otoki, said in a press statement that the cost of accessing the internet to even find jobs on Jobberman.com.gh was a barrier to many job seekers since they could not afford data bundles.
“It is in light of this that we are partnering Facebook to bring relief to Jobseekers who are unable to buy data bundles to access the internet services for free to help improve their lives,” he said.
Jobberman.com.gh matches employers with job seekers through the internet and provides effective tools for recruiting talents for employers. It currently has about 7,000 employers and 300,000 job seekers meeting on the platform.
The app is downloadable on Google Play Store or www.internet.org on a mobile browser.
