Joy FM has officially launched the 2010 Joy FM Beauty and Bridal Fair (formerly Joy Bridal Fair) at a short but impressive ceremony in Accra on Friday.
The 8th edition, which promises to be “different and unique”, according to Max-Fugah, Sales Manager of Joy FM, who launched the event, is expected to attract at least 7,000 patrons daily. Last year’s had a daily visit of 5000.
The fair will take place between 1st and 4th of July. About 120 exhibitors are expected to be part of the event.
The event will capture everything beautiful and bridal. Exhibitors will include professionals in bridal wears and accessories, beauty and health services, finance and insurance companies, luxurious limousine services, textile companies, catering services, home financing, home furnishing, massage and others from the hospitality industry.
Explaining why the "Beauty" was added to the event title of Bridal for many years, Max-Fugah stated that a “marriage ceremony without the beauty is no marriage”. He said they are making “conscious and deliberate efforts to promote and project the beauty aspect of the bridal business”.
So what has been the hallmark of the annual event? The sales manager pointed out: “Joy Beauty and Bridal Fair has since its inaugural exhibition in 2003 grown to become a major solution centre, attracting the nation’s finest wedding service providers. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better.”
