Over 15,000 of society’s less privileged will be feted, clothed and given medical care tomorrow, Easter Sunday as Joy FM holds its annual Easter Soup Kitchen at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.
The annual event, which is in its 14th year, is part of the station’s corporate social responsibility to the underprivileged in society.
Organizers of the nation’s biggest charity event say sponsorship and donations for this year’s programme have significantly improved over the years.
Chairman of the Soup Kitchen Planning Committee, Max Fuga, says all is set for tomorrow’s event.
Several bales of clothe as well as food items, toiletries and medicine have been donated by listeners of Joy FM, philanthropists and listeners to make the event a success.
