Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante popularly known as Kalybos has spoken about why a five-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend ended on the rocks.
When he was asked about what became of the relationship with his ex-girlfriend Frimpongmaa on the Girl’s Aloud podcast, he said things did not just work out.
“Being in a relationship for a longer period doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what. When you assess yourself and something is not going the way you want, then [you walk out],” he said.
Responding to a question by one of the hosts on whether things weren’t going the way he wanted with Frimpongmaa, he answered, "no, it wasn’t."
Kalybos and Antwiwaa marked the first anniversary of their marriage a few days ago, sharing some memorable moments on social media.
In a caption to photos shared on Kalybos' Instagram page on November 11, 2024, he wrote: "11:11 is a YEAR OLD today. Happy Anniversary” to us My Mrs Owusu Asante. May this special day be a reminder of all the beautiful moments you’ve shared and a celebration of the journey ahead. Wishing you endless love, laughter, and happiness in the years to come! Here’s to the beautiful memories we’ve made and the many more to come. I love you more than words can express.”
