Even though luxury cars are normally associated with top footballers in the country, a former football administrator has shown that managers could also hold their own in that regard.Former Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kennedy ‘Cappuccino’ Agyepong, has set the record as the first Ghanaian to acquire German luxury car, Maybach.Even though he would not disclose the cost involved in acquiring the vehicle, Daily Guide Sports’ checks indicate that a Maybach of that type costs about half a million dollars.Further checks at the country’s ports indicate that duty on the vehicle cost the business mogul 1.3 billion (old) cedis.Luxury cars such as Hummer, Rolls Royce and Chrysler are normally the preserve of big earners in top European leagues such as Emmanuel Adebayor, Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari and such as Emmanuel Adebayor, Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien. It is left to be seen if these footballers would be willing to dip their hands into their pockets and pay half a million dollars for a Maybach, as was done by Kennedy ‘Cappu’ Agyepong.
