Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Martin King Arthur, popularly known as Kofi Kinaata, has urged Ghanaians to promote and patronise Made-In-Ghana products in order to help Ghanaian entrepreneurs and businesses to achieve significant growth leading to a meaningful development of the Ghanaian economy.
The multiple award winning musician and “Fante Rap God” made this passionate appeal at the recently held launch event of “My Ghana Town”, a one-stop-shop for a range of Made-In-Ghana products of the highest standard, quality and at affordable prices in Accra, the national capital.
Very impressed with the innovation and creativity employed in packaging the products, Kofi Kinaata indicated that Made-In-Ghana products are becoming increasingly important in the country’s drive towards industrialization as well as a major contributing factor to achieve national economic growth.

“We need to always promote Made-In-Ghana products and also patronize them to keep our Ghanaian entrepreneurs in operations. Have you thought of what that will do for us as a country? This is going to boost the local economy and employment through the use of local materials, working with suppliers, designers and other professionals within the value chain”, he added.
Over the years, Kofi Kinaata has promoted Made-In-Ghana products through his music and other relevant platforms available to him.
He indicated his commitment to continuing promoting Ghanaian made products and services as well as exploring the possibility of organising a nationwide campaign to encourage and educate Ghanaians on the essence of patronising Made-In-Ghana products.
The first branch of “My Ghana Town” is located in the heart of Accra, Labone, inside Premier Place and directly opposite Bosphorus Restaurant & Café with the second soon to open in the central business district. The outlet operates Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 9pm and Sundays from 11am to 7pm.

“My Ghana Town” stocks an assorted range of Made-In-Ghana products including food and ingredients, beverages, skin and beauty-care products, textiles, apparel and garments. Other products on sale at “My Ghana Town” are leather footwear and slippers, male and female fashion accessories, paintings, handicraft and many more.
Lovers of quality, authentic, innovative, and well–packaged Ghanaian made products now have a lot to cheer about with the recent launch of “My Ghana Town”, located inside Premier Place and directly opposite Bosphorus Restaurant & Café. It is a one-stop-shop for Made-In-Ghana products of the highest standard, quality and at affordable prices.
