The Ghana Taekwondo Association (GTA) as part of its efforts to develop the sport is collaborating with the Korean Embassy to stage a two-day Taekwondo championship to unearth talents.
The championship is fixed to come off at the Aviation Social Centre comes on Thursday, October 11 to 12 and dubbed "Korea Taekwondo Cup".
Patrick Anyidoho Cofie, General Secretary of the Association in a brief with the GNA Sports said the event will also be used to enhance Ghana-Korea cultural ties.
He said about 150 participants are expected to compete for honours in the two-day championship.
The General Secretary said the event would be graced by the Minister of Education, Science and Sports.Sports: GNA
