Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak were kept apart in the Round of 16 draw of the MTN FA Cup but both sides could meet in the semi-final.
Monday's last 16 pairings pitted Kotoko, losing finalist in the previous competition against Division One campaigners Amidaus Professionals in Accra.
Record Cup holders Hearts of Oak will need to overcome Dunkwa United in an outstanding Round of 32 clash before reaching the last 16 with the winner of the tie meting Elmina Sharks.
Berekum Chelsea will also be away in Dormaa to Kyenkyenkye while AshantiGold take on Wa All Stars.
