Asante Kotoko moved to third on the Glo Premier League standings after winning 2-1 against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.A goal in each half by Kofi Nti Boakye and Kwabena Adusei helped the Porcupine Warriors to victory at the Accra Sports Stadium in the last fixture of the first round of the league.Kotoko stunned the hosts in the 33rd minute when Nti Boakye drew first blood and they held onto the lone goal to end the first half one-nil in front. With three minutes of play remaining, Kotoko were awarded a penalty after striker Seidu Bansi was felled in the box.Adusei stepped up and slotted in the ball from the spot to give Kotoko a two-nil lead. However, Liberty mounted a late revival as Ebenezer Asifouh pulled one back in the injury time but they had little time to salvage a point as Kotoko run away with all three points.
