Baba Rahman's manager Kurt Okraku has expressed delight following his client's move to Schalke 04.
Chelsea announced on Monday that the talented defender has completed an 18-month loan transfer to the Bundesliga club.
Baba rejoins Schalke, where he spent the first half of last season before sustaining a knee injury during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
And Kurt, who is also President of Rahman's former club Dreams FC, is happy.
"In his first season at Chelsea he played 22 games which were very impressive, indeed there were some games that he was not at his very best but we also saw some games that perhaps he was the MVP," he told Joy FM
"Nevertheless, he's had one whole year of the pitch, this is very unlike of Baba even though he is a young boy so for him to be out for a year has not been easy for him.
"Hopefully he will be back on the pitch where he will be playing week in week out so everybody in the family is happy and we are looking forward to him playing actively."
Baba signed for Chelsea from another German side, Augsburg, in the summer of 2015 and made 23 appearances during his maiden season at Stamford Bridge.
