The National Circles Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah is advocating that Ghana Football Association president Kwasi Nyantakyi should take up the chairmanship of the Black Stars management committee.
The GFA after electing members to its executive committee, is set to make changes at the various levels of the national teams’ management committees.
Mr. Ackah said on Asempa FM’s Sports Morning Show on Wednesday that it will be proper for Mr. Nyantakyi to emulate what his predecessors like Nana Sam Brew Butler, Lepowura Alhaji Mohammed Nurudeen Jawula, Mr. Ben Kwofie and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe did while in office - chairing the management committees of the Black Stars.
According to him, this is a worldwide practice, insisting that the Football Association president should exercise that power as the Chairman of the Black Stars management committee.
