MA Love Foundation, a charity organization, launched a year ago to support needy public institutions in the country has launched a fresh appeal for support for the Korle-Bu Child Health Centre with a mobile x-ray and chemistry analyzer. The foundation was launched with the sole aim of saving the lives of children and also redirecting their future towards self-sufficiency and it has so far donated incubators to some medical outfits in the country including one worth GHc37,000, donated to the Wa Regional Hospital.Speaking at a press conference to launch the second phase of the appeals, at the Legacy Hotel in Accra, Monday, Rev. Mike Nii Abossey, Founder of MA Love Foundation, thanked persons and institutions who have contributed generously to help the charity organization buy medical equipment for children hospitals to enable them provide the best care for our children.Counting on the huge success chalked up by the foundation since its inception, he launched the “new appeal to further support the children and to drastically curb neo-natal mortalities.”“We would humbly appeal to all and sundry to support as we did previously to purchase the incubators, to this time, get a mobile X-ray machine and a chemistry analyzer for small blood volumes valued at US$40,000 and €16,400 respectively. The amount quoted here is ex-factory, therefore without freight and insurance,” the host of Joy Time in His Presence and A Walk with Jesus on Joy FM added. He urged interested persons, however, not to do cash donations, but take advantage of “our MTN Mobile Money Account 054-8750033 and a cheque system so we can trace all donations for the sake of accountability.”Rev. Mike Nii Abossey encouraged corporate organizations and individuals to be the foundation’s life partners so as to keep them afloat and well resourced for their activities.
