An Apam District Magistrate’s court has remanded Kobina Panyin from Gomoa Ankamu into prison custody for allegedly stealing some personal items and 70 Ghana cedis cash belonging to Miss Tabitha Ewoodzie, a teacher at Ankamu Islamic Primary School.
Panyin pleaded guilty and would re-appear on April 27 for sentence.
Police Inspector George Amponsah, prosecuting told the court presided over by Mr Charles Wiafe that on November 25, last year, Panyin entered the room of Miss Ewoodzie and stole some personal items.
He said on April 6, this year during the night Panyin entered the room again and stole some items and the money but was spotted by someone who confronted him and was sent to the police station and after investigations charged with the offence.
