Head Coach of Asante Kotoko Mas-ud Didi Dramani has indicated his readiness to lead Asante Kotoko success in this season’s premier league and the African Champions league.
Fans of the Kumasi-based side see Mas-ud Dramani as the ‘Messiah’ to return the club to winning was in the Glo Premier League after recording two straight draws.
Dramani is expected to supervise his first training session at Kotoko on Wednesday after he guided the Black Maidens to clinch a historic bronze at the just ended 2012 FIFA Uner-17 Women’s World Championship in Azerbaijan.
Kotoko currently lie on 9th position on the table after picking a paltry two points from a possible six in their opening two games against first timers Amidaus Professionals and last season’s runner-up Ashantigold. But Coach Dramani insists he is under no pressure to achieve the ultimate.
“I’m never under pressure to coach Kotoko or any team in Ghana, I know what I’m about and ready for any job”. He told Joy Sports
“There will be pressure on Kotoko to do better than what they did last year and you will realize that Kotoko has not the opening two games and naturally the supporters will be unhappy”
“But what is important in football is that you need to be playing well before you think about winning and for now our major aim is to defend the league title and do well in the Champions league”
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League last season and will represent the country in next year’s CAF Champions League.
