Ghanaian rapper Medikal continues to cement his influence in the music industry as his smash hit “Shoulder”, featuring Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM, was crowned “Song of the Year” at the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
The star-studded ceremony took place at the Palms Convention Centre and brought together some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music and DJ culture.
Shoulder has dominated charts, nightlife playlists, and social media trends throughout the year, making its victory a widely celebrated moment.
The night marked a double triumph for Medikal’s camp as his official DJ, DJ Tedd, also won “Artist DJ of the Year.” Known for his unmatched crowd control and seamless synergy with Medikal, DJ Tedd’s win highlights his rising status as one of Ghana’s top performance DJs.
Guests at the Palms Convention Centre were treated to one of the event’s most electrifying performances when Medikal hit the stage. His delivery, stage charisma, and connection with the audience ignited the venue, making his set one of the standout moments of the evening.
