Disk Jockey, Kwabena Koduah, popularly known as DJ Ikon, has earned three nominations in the 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards organised by Merqury Republic.
He was nominated in the Male Radio DJ of the Year, Afrobeats DJ of the Year, and Artiste Collaboration of the Year categories.

DJ Ikon faces fierce competition from top names such as Joy FM’s DJ Wobete, Pluzz FM’s Mr Shark, and YFM’s DJ Sly King in the 'Male Radio DJ of the Year' category.
He will also battle for supremacy with heavyweights like ADDJ, DJ Quest, and several other outstanding DJs in the 'Afrobeats DJ of the Year' category.

DJ Ikon, the official DJ for 'Cruise Control' and 'The Mixtape Show' on Hitz FM, is hoping to clinch his first award and remains optimistic about his chances. He is also the official DJ for award-winning Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole.
Organisers of the annual Guinness Ghana DJ Awards have released the first set of performers for this year’s ceremony, scheduled for November 29, 2025, at The Palms Convention Center.

Artistes set to rock the big stage include Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, Andy Dosty, and Keche.
Over the past 13 years, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has featured electrifying performances from a tall list of Ghanaian acts such as Kofi Mole, Black Sherif, Medikal, DJ Vyrusky, Andy Dosty, DJ Switch, Stonebwoy, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, MzVee, Captain Planet, Patapaa, Adina, D-Black, Flowking Stone, and Mr Drew, among others.
