The late President J.E.A.Mills would be laid in state at the Banquet hall Wednesday, August 8.
According to the funeral planning committee, foreign diplomats and dignitaries would first be allowed to pay their last respect after which the public would be given the chance on Friday, August 9 to file past the body of the late President.
The burial place of the President has become a subject of a tussle with family members insisting the President be buried at his native Ekumfi Otuam, Central region.
Meanwhile indications given by the Haruna Iddrisu on Saturday that President Mills would be buried at the Flagstafff house has also been discounted by the Minister of Information, Fritz Baffuor who said the burial place is still undecided.
According to Nana Ato Dadzie, a member of the planning committee of the funeral, three areas have come out for consideration of the final resting place of the late President Mills.
Nana Ato Dadzie told Joy News so far, the committee has inspected the three places, the Flagstaff House, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and a portion at the Military cemetery, Osu.
Nevertheless Ato Dadzie added that the final decision has to be arrived at with the exclusive involvement of the family of the late President.
The President, however, is expected to be buried on August 10.
