A Deputy Minister of Finance Mrs Mona Quartey, has donated items to three constituencies in the country with a call on members to ensure unity in the party for resounding victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections come December 7, 2016.
She said with unity, no party will be able to defeat the NDC in the upcoming elections.
"We need to work closely together as one people from the same political party in order to retain power come 2016 elections" Mrs Mona Quartey advised.
She made the call when she donated items to executives of three NDC Constituencies namely Dome Kwabenya, Krachi Nchurumu and Okaikoi North.
She donated the items to support the party’s campaign activities. Some of the items donated were Polo shirts, Caps, Umbrellas, head pans and other paraphernalia to support the campaign.
Mrs Mona Quartey urged his comrades not to sit on the fence, and called on them to put their shoulders to the wheel to speed up the party’s campaign for resounding victory come December 7, 2016 elections.
"Let’s bury our differences so that with a united front we can develop the NDC and push the government to deliver" she appealed.
The items were received by the executives of Dome Kwabenya constituency and John Majisi (MP & PC for Krachi Nchurumu). Abdul Razak Issah, parliamentary candidate for the Okaikoi North, received the items on behalf of the constituency.
The recipients thanked the Deputy Minister and assured her that the items received would be put to good use to enable the party retain the seats and the presidency.
