The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku constituency, Dr Bernard Oko-Boye exhibited great armwrestling skills to defeat Police Inspector, Tony Mensah on Saturday at K-Balm Armwrestling Challenge hosted by Kofikrom Pharmacy Ltd in La, Accra.
The lawmaker drew applause from the crowd as he stunningly pulled off a remarkable victory over the policeman in a best of three arm battle.
Challenged athlete, Haruna Tahiru, emerged champion in the first of many community Armwrestling battles dubbed the "Armwrestling Train".
Tahiru beat a strong competition in the Men Over 100kg in the K-Balm Community Challenge.
The colourful and competitive event was graced by the Armwrestling Federation executives, La Mantse Nii Tettey Kpobi Tslu, GOC President, Dr. Oko Boye, Mr. Vincent Sowah Odoteye, Michael Appiah Boateng, Mr. Mikki Osei Berko and many others.
