The International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS) in collaboration with Binatone Ghana will organise a Skate Soccer friendly between Ghana (Rolling Rockets) and Togo at the Accra Sports Stadium, Tennis court on September 2, 2017
The fast growing sport has moved action from the streets of Accra where many polio survivors who can be seen begging at traffic lights, have actively been gathering to represent the Rolling Rockets, who are a local team promoting the sport of skate soccer. Skate Soccer in Ghana has for the past years been supported by Binatone Ghana in Collaboration with International Federation Of Skate Soccer headed By Mr, Frimpong.
The last time Ghana (Rolling Rockets) played Nigeria at the independence square, which grace the team massive exposure and are expected to play Nigeria in October for the return leg before hosting Burkina Faso, Benin and Ivory Coast later in the year.
The Managing Director of Binatone Ghana Venu Babu speaking to Joy Sports explained why his Company continues to pledge support for the sport.
“As title sponsor, we are committed at least for the next ten years, we are committed to supporting the sports as much as we can.”He further stated how far and their ambitions for the sport in the next few years.
“The next target after hosting Africa Cup of Skate Soccer in March 2018 is to host the World Cup and the Para Olympics.”
The president of International Federation of Skate Soccer, Mr.Albert Frimpong says the target for the international friendly is to get the competing countries in the next AFCON well prepared before the competition takes off. The tournament will be hosted in March 2018 in Accra(Ghana).
“We have planned to play the countries who will compete in next year’s AFCON. We want to get competitive games to give exposure and to monitor the organizational structure,” he said.
He further admitted that with Binatone coming on board as partners has really helped lift the sport to the next level.
“Binatone coming on board has really lifted the sport to the next level, it has really helped because now, I don’t find the sport as I use to do in the past ten years so it has relief pressure on me in funds aspect. It is easy to call the players to camp because there are training allowances for the players,” he stressed.

3rd. Ghana vs Niger in Accra (2017)
4th. Ghana vs Ivory Coast, Accra (January,2018)
5th. Ghana vs Burkina Faso (February, 2018).
6th. March will be International Federation of Skate Soccer AFCON
The winner of that game will get GH¢ 10,000.00 and products from Binatone
