A 26-year-old year man who questioned why a group of Navy officers attacked her cousin ended up brutally assaulted by the officers.
They are believed to be officers from the Jemeni Naval Detachment in the Volta Region.
Aglanu Adanya, who walked into the Joy FM Studios with bruises all over his body claims he was attacked by the Navy officers on Wednesday for questioning why they picked up his cousin over a debt she owed her ex-boyfriend.
According to Aglanu, he had only suggested to the navy officers to take his cousin Mawusi to the Police Station instead.
Aglanu Adanya claims after the incident he was abandoned at the Kpalime Police Station where he was given a medical form for treatment.
But a police officer, who prefers to remain anonymous, told Joy News Aglanu was arrested by the Navy officers for attempting to snatch their rifles while they were effecting an arrest.
