Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been urged to elect God fearing and marketable parliamentary candidates who could match the New Patriotic Party candidates in the 2008 election.
The constituency executives have also been asked to elect people who could be relied on to deliver upon their campaign promises.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Gushiegu Constituency Office of the party and signed by the Secretary Mr Alhassan Puumaya after a meeting held at Gushiegu on Thursday.
The constituency executives urged all the regional constituency executives to remain loyal to the party to enhance organisational work and also appealed to supporters and sympathisers to remain committed and united to enable the party to recapture power in 2008.
The constituency executives, however, warned NPP members in the area to stop intimidating and harassing NDC supporters, especially those in remote villages, adding, " We are no more going to accept these acts which brings fear into the people to disenfranchise them".
