A contestant for deputy General Secretary position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Adu Asare, could not find his name on the ballot paper at the 9th national delegates’ congress.
The former Adentan MP rather found the name of Justice Yeboah on the ballot where he had expected to find his name.
His picture was next to the name Justice Yeboah who is not contesting for any position at the Congress held at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
The anomaly means Kojo Adu Adu Asare although a contestant, only had his picture but not his name. His supporters were left confused.

The former NDC MP had drawn the attention of the election organising committee to the anomaly but while his protest was acknowledged, nothing was done about it.
Adu Asare was hoping to pick one of two slots for deputy National General Secretary of the party.
He faced opposition from 10 other contestants. They are Alhaji Nuru Hamidan, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, Peter Boamah Otokonor and David Kwaku Worwui-Brown.
The rest are George Lawson, Abdullah Ishaq Farrakhan, Nii Dodoo Dodoo, Kale Cezar, Ephram Nii Tan Sackey and Evans Amoo.
Results of the elections are yet to be confirmed.
