The ruling National Democratic Congress says all is set for parliamentary primaries on Saturday in orphan constituencies in the southern zone.
The party says it does not expect any disruptions to the polls despite reports of clashes during the northern zone elections.
Constituencies expected to vote Saturday include Okaikwei North and Weija.
Greater Accra chairman of the NDC, Joseph Ade Coker has told Joy News’ Anny Osabutey the party envisages a problem-free poll because a level playing ground has been provided all candidates. Candidates have also been offered opportunities to verify the processes.
“Everything is in order, we’ve got the Electoral Commissioner informed and we are having elections in six constituencies tomorrow (Saturday) and on Sunday we have the other two…”
Tema East and West are the constituencies running polls on Sunday.
