Three candidates from the Nkoranza South Constituency have filed nominations to contest next year's parliamentary election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
They are Mr James Opoku Worge, a 60-year old educationist from Brahoho, Mr Kwaku Poku Boah, 69, legal practitioner from Sessiman, a suburb of Nkoranza and 33 year-old Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyemang, who is currently studying Business in the United Kingdom.
Mr Peter Owusu Baffoe, Nkoranza South Constituency Chairman of the NDC, who received the forms urged the candidates to carry out their electioneering campaign in a peaceful manner devoid of insults, provocative statements and character assassination against their opponents.
He reminded them that since they belonged to one party, they have a common goal and objective and that whoever emerged victorious would run against the New Patriotic Party next year.
Mr Baffoe appealed to the constituency executive to remain neutral during the electioneering campaign in order not to create any divisions among the party members in the communities.
He said a date would be fixed for the conduct of primary elections.
Mr Baffoe said after the primaries, the candidate and winner would be taken round the constituency and introduced to the electorates.
