Having just returned from a fruitless Libyan stint, former Hearts man Nuru Sulley is in talks with Kotoko.
A highly rated defensive midfielder, Sulley may make the move to play in Kumasi next season, following a termination of his deal with Al Ittihad last week.
"What you heard is true," Nuru told Supersport. "I'm looking at joining Kotoko if all the talks go well."
The 25-year-old defender was not paid his salary for close to six months after he joined two months earlier. He had Chan team compatriot Yahaya Mohammed there with him.
"The plan is to be in Kumasi next week to finish all the details and if we agree on terms, I will go because I want to be active," the player went on.
Sulley has previously played for Mighty Jets as a right-back while David Duncan used him as a defensive midfielder while the manager was at Hearts.
Sources say the great working relationship Duncan had with the player while in Accra is a major catalyst for this move.
