Residents of New Estate, a suburb of Obuasi say they are living in fear after witnessing the death of four people within a week from a strange sickness.
The residents say the deceased all complained of similar symptoms.
The residents who have started migrating from the area suspect a visitor who has moved to the town may be the cause.
Daniel Adomako, a resident, told Joy News all the deceased complained of headache and died shortly afterwards.
He said many of the residents have been hospitalized due to the same sickness.
“Right now everybody is disturbed,” he lamented.
