The 1990 Past OLA Girls Association (POGA 90), as part of their 20th anniversary, have refurbished and provided a broadband Internet facility to the school's ICT centre.
The group also donated stools for the school's science laboratory.
The support was to fulfill a promise POGA 90 made to periodically assist the school.
The President of the group, Mrs Ruth Akornor, whose speech was read for her by Ms Janet Gbedemah, said POGA 90 deemed it appropriate that the school should have a reliable and efficient ICT/Internet centre to help to enhance teaching and learning.
"We hope that this refurbished, fully installed and connected ICT Centre will be put to good use and maintained for the benefit of our use today and for the years to come," she said.
She said as part of the celebration, POGA 90 would make a donation to the children's hospital in Accra and to an NGO which supports the underprivileged in the northern part of the country.
Mrs Akornor later appealed to all members of the year group to participate in all activities and also to contribute to the welfare of their alma mater.
POGA 90, she said, would crown its celebration with a thanksgiving service at the Sakumono Roman Catholic Church.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs Benedicta Akpesi, thanked POGA 90 for the gesture.
She promised that the school would put the ICT Centre to good use to enable the students to be abreast with global issues.
She advised the students to learn from their alma mater.
The group further had some interaction with the prefects of the school to know their concerns and see how best they could assist.
