Ex -Ghana Coach Osam Duodu is backing Coach of the Black Satellites Sellas Tetteh to make history by becoming the first Coach to win the African Youth Tournament a second time.
Ghana cruised to the final of the on-going African Youth Championship after beating Mali 4-2 on penalties on Tuesday.
The Black Satellites will face Egypt in the final on Saturday and a win will make Coach Sellas Tetteh the first coach in the history of African football to win the tournament twice after guiding the team to conquer Africa in Rwanda 2009.
According to Ex-Ghana Coach Osam Duodo who became the first Ghanaian coach to win the Under 20 tournament in Mauritius 1993, Sellas Tetteh is capable of winning the tournament
“He is capable of doing that because he has shown it over the years, I’m really proud of him.”He told Joy Sports
“Sellas is somebody who listens and that is what is helping him, all he needs to do is to focus and win the final game and make that history”
Meanwhile,the third place game comes off on Friday between Nigeria and Mali
