Patrons thrilled at Land of Spirits Festival in Accra

It was an epic night of "An Experience Like None Other, The African Way, A Brew of African Cultures, From Past Ages to Distant Days”'.

Artistes rocked the maiden edition of The Land of Spirits Festival at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on January 8, 2023.

The open-air music, poetry, fashion and arts festival saw spectacular performances from Asi Rene, Ria Boss, Drupz Pure Akan, Dark Suburb, and Ehalakasa with a grand opening by Senku Live on the night.

Prior to the main performances, Joe Wackle and Caleb Nii Boye co-hosting with support from DJ, treated the patrons who also went around viewing all the beautiful bodies of artwork by Glenn Samm & The Maasai Warriors from Kenya.

Renowned musician Trigmatic who doubled as MC mounted the stage with a powerful introduction to his 'Life' song which got most of the fans excited as well as reminiscing about the good old days.

From their stage display, Asi Rene and Ria Boss proved their might in Ghana’s bag of vocal greats.

Spoken word artiste, Rhyme Sonny took his turn with a sensual poem which penetrated the ears of many leaving smiles on their faces, then wrapped up with another which spoke to the blackness and its impact on various aspects of the human race.

Dark Suburb, Pure Akan, and Worlasi gave their best energy on the night leaving a fan so thrilled that he went half-naked.

Land of Spirits is very diverse and the festival has been responsible for the influx of Africans and people from different parts of the world coming to experience Ghana and invest in Ghana throughout the year.
