The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced that Real Madrid defender Pepe has been handed a two-match ban for verbally abusing the referee in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Villarreal.Pepe vented his frustration at the refereeing decisions in the tunnel, with match official Jose Luis Paradas Romero mentioning the incident in his report. The RFEF decided that the defender's outburst fell into the category of 'acts of scorn or lack of consideration towards referees, club officials or sporting authorities'.Mesut Ozil will have to serve a one-game ban after being sent off during the match, while Sergio Ramos' red card has been withdrawn as the referee's account of the action which earned the defender his first yellow card was imprecise.Jose Mourinho will be unable to oversee Madrid's match against Real Sociedad after being hit with a one-game ban, whereas fitness coach Rui Faria will not sit on the bench for the next two encounters as this was the fourth time that he has been sent to the stands in the last four months.
