The refrain from government and power authorities is an attitude of conservation while the debilitating effects of the power crisis continues.
But as always, leadership will be key in rallying Ghanaians to conserve energy.
In this photo taken by Myjoyonline's entertainment journalist Dela Aglanu, is JOB 600, a magnificent office edifice for MPs brightly and fully lit at the most oddest hour of the night and on a holiday.
The photo was taken on Boxing Day last year, a holiday when nobody was at work, at least not the 600 MPs and their staff.
Mind you, the power crisis has been on and running for three years and wrecking havoc.
Leaders must appreciate that if you live in glass houses or fully lit ones you cannot throw conservation stones at the many sweating, tossing and turning in darkness.
