Ex-President Rawlings on Monday received a nine member delegation from the family of the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) the host of (Ekosii Sen ) program on Asempa FM who died recently at Korlebu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
The delegation which was led by the Chief of Adumasa Nana Ansah Kwao (IV) was at the former President Rawlings' office to officially inform him and also to invite him to the final funeral rite which is slated for December 16, 2017 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
The body will be laid in state for public viewing which will be followed by a pre burial service after which he will be laid to rest at the Osu Cemetery.
Receiving the invitation, the former President expressed his condolence to the bereaved family and promised them he will be present at the funeral ceremony .
