The ballot papers were delivered under tight security Thursday.
Northern Regional Public Relations officer of the police, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, told Joy News 26 out of the 31 constituencies in the region have already received their ballot bags for the polls.
He assured that the papers would be given a 24-hour security guard to ensure they are not “compromised”.
“As usual we are providing heavy security, 24-hour security to enable the ballots to be kept in safe custody that would make it impossible for any of the political parties to raise eyebrows”
