President Mills will begin a tour of the upper West region today.
This is the second leg of his tour of the northern regions.
Last night President Mills addressed an enthusiastic crowd that welcomed him into the Wa township.
The President gave the assurance that his administration will not renege on the promise to build a better Ghana.
Supporters of the governing NDC, told Joy News’ Seth Kwame Boateng they were living in a better Ghana and were determined to keep it at that.
They say the president will win a resounding victory in the 2012 elections.
Over the past two days President Mills has been in the Upper East region where he cut the sod for some development projects and inspected progress of work on others.
Director of Communications at the Castle Koku Anyidoho says the President’s tour has been a huge success.
He said the rousing welcome the president received during the tour is ample evidence that president Mills had done tremendously well in two years contrary to propagandist views that he had done nothing.
“In two years president Mills has done a lot…and God willing the mandate will be renewed in 2012 for an even better Ghana to be built,” he said.
