President John Evans Atta Mills in consultation with the Council of State has appointed Mr. Sulley Amadu, Director of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Electoral Commission as the Deputy Chairman of the EC with effect from May 2, 2012.
A statement signed by secretary to the President, J. K. Bebaako Mensah said Mr. Amadu replaces Mr.David Kanga who proceeded on compulsory retirement with effect April 29.
