Rana Motors is celebrating 30 years of its flagship compact SUV, the Kia Sportage by unveiling a 30th anniversary limited edition of 30 units.
For 30 years, the Sportage has upheld its legacy of cutting-edge safety, performance and design.
The Kia Sportage has undergone remarkable transformation since its debut, with each generation further enhancing the model’s appeal.
According to Chief Operating Officer of Rana Motors, Kassem Odaymat, the 30 limited units of Kia Sportage which was assembled in Ghana possesses enhanced specifications, focusing on convenience and safety, built to meet demands of customers.
“Looking into the future, we are certain that Kia Sportage is ready to explore new horizons ensuring that the roads ahead are even more exciting than the ones already traveled”, he said.
As SUVs gained popularity in Ghana, the Sportage has evolved to meet the demands of local drivers. The second model introduced a monocoque platform, improving ride comfort and boosting sales significantly.
The third-generation Sportage, known for its bold Tiger Nose grille. The vehicles over the years have proven to be safe and durable with high safety standards strongly resonating with the local market.
The fourth and fifth generations have seen the addition of advanced driver assistance systems and fuel efficient engine options made for both city commutes and long distance travel across the country.
The Kia sportage has become a popular choice for many Ghanaians over the years. Sales Manager at Rana Motors, Alex Kuntah said the vehicles encompasses technological advances aimed at giving customers value for their money.
The First 5 owners who bought the 30TH Anniversary Limited Edition of the Sportage were handed the vehicles and presented with premium anniversary gifts.
