The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the governing party will not lose sleep over a founding member's campaign against it in the December 7 general elections.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia alias 'General Mosquito' said even the founder and former President's constant criticism against the party in 2012 general elections did not cost the NDC victory.
Amidu's castigations in 2016 will therefore not make any difference, he told Joy News.

One of Ghana's longest-serving ministers Martin Amidu who was an Attorney-General under President Rawlings has called on Ghanaians to vote out the NDC.
The party insider turned outcast has been fighting corruption in government and says the only way to retrieve judgment debt wrongfully paid to the businessman Alfred Woyome is to vote out the government.
Mr Amidu fought off the state and the businessman to obtain a favourable Supreme Court judgment ordering the state to get the NDC financier to cough out GHC51.2million.
But since 2014, the state for various reasons has not been able to implement the court order.
Frustrated by events, Mr Amidu who was a one-time running mate to the NDC presidential ticket in 2000 is convinced that if the NDC persists in government, the money will be forever lost to the taxpayer.
The late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills chose Amidu as running mate in 2000.
"If indeed Ghanaians would vote according to the advice of Martin Amidu, we would have won the elections in 2000 when he was running mate because at that time he was all over on platforms urging Ghanaians to vote for us. They didn't vote for us," he said.
