Residents of Kaneshie, Adabraka and Asylum Down, suburbs in the Greater Accra region, are unhappy with city officials for what they say is their failure to de-silt gutters in the area.Contrary to the promises by the AMA boss that drains have been de-silted and floods will not be experienced when it rains this year, there was flooding at some houses at Kaneshie, Adabraka and Asylum Down areas last Thursday.Some residents say the dumping of refuse into the gutters has choked the gutters and called on the AMA boss to come and see things for himself.They are demanding more from the AMA. Some of the traders and residents who spoke to Joy News said they no more trust the AMA boss, Alfred Vanderpuje and his team of officials.Some residents said the gutters in the suburbs are too narrow; a situation they claim is also contributing to the floods in the area.
