Armed robbers are alleged to have attacked travelers using the Asankraguah-Bekwai road Monday morning.
They reportedly blocked the road to facilitate the illegal operation.
They were said to have taken cash and whatever they found on the vehicles they stopped.
A driver of one of the vehicles that was robbed was shot in the arm and legs.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wassa Amenfi West, Victor Samuel Meifu tells Joy News the driver is responding to treatment at the Asankragua Catholic hospital.
