President John Mahama has appointed Ing. Solomon Twum Barima as the new Managing Director of SIC Life Insurance Company.
His appointment marks a significant leadership transition at one of Ghana’s leading life insurance providers.
With over 22 years of experience spanning manufacturing, insurance, law, risk management, and finance, Mr. Twum Barima brings a wealth of expertise to the role.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Operations Officer at GLICO General Insurance Ltd., where he played a key role in organizational strategy and operational efficiency.
A Chartered Insurer, Risk Management Expert, Lawyer, and Certified Loss Adjuster, Mr. Twum Barima has built a distinguished career in risk assessment, underwriting, and claims management.
His academic credentials include an MPhil in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Ghana Business School, a BSc in Chemical Engineering from KNUST, and an LLB from the University of Ghana.
He is also a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers, the Ghana Bar Association, and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana.
